Publish an installation, custom work, or consulting service

Define the scope, price, and starting materials so customers can buy at a fixed price or request a formal quote.

Before you start

  • Save the sales party’s legal name, address, and business timezone in Brand.

1. Create a service and choose how to price it

  1. In Products, select New product, choose Service, and enter the URL suffix, title, and description.
  2. Under Pricing, choose Fixed price or Request a quote. A fixed price must be at least USD 25. Use quotes when scope needs to be agreed first.
  3. For example, offer “API integration setup” covering one environment, a verified request, and operating instructions. State that new feature development is excluded. Link an API product from the same merchant if relevant.

2. Set starting materials and delivery rules

  1. For quotes, add only questions that affect pricing under the questions collected before quoting, such as the existing system and integration scope.
  2. Under the information collected after payment, add formal starting requirements such as a test environment URL. Choose answer types, required fields, and allowed attachments.
  3. Enter delivery days, revisions, and support days. For example, offer delivery in 3 days, 1 revision, and 7 days of support only if that matches your actual commitment.
  4. For ongoing work after acceptance, enable the maintenance package and enter its title, price, and scope.

3. Define deliverables and acceptance criteria

  1. Open Service agreement and enter the service scope, deliverables, buyer responsibilities, and acceptance criteria as separate items.
  2. For example, “The buyer completes one API request in the agreed test environment” is easier to verify than “Integration complete.”
  3. Add support boundaries, limitations, or supplemental terms as needed. Check they agree with the title, description, and price.

4. Review the buyer page

  1. Open Preview and check the sales party, price or quote entry, delivery time, revisions, support period, and service terms.
  2. Keep quote questions separate from formal requirements after payment, and distinguish maintenance from the one-time delivery.

5. Save and publish

  1. Save the draft, complete any fields highlighted by the page, then select Publish.
  2. Open the public page from Products in a signed-out window to check the product and purchase entry. Sign in as a buyer to review the full service terms. Fixed-price services allow guest payment; quote requests require a verified buyer account.
