Supported billing models

    Offer free Hard, paid monthly, zero-base with included usage and overage, or pure pay-as-you-go plans. Any billable access requires a reusable payment method.

  2. 2

    Give each object Daily, Monthly, or Unlimited quota and flat, graduated, or volume pricing. Hard limits block excess calls; Soft limits charge configured overage. Tier prices use the full subscription-cycle quantity.

  3. 3

    Plans with volume pricing settle at cycle end or cancellation. Other metered plans use USD 25 early-invoice thresholds without restarting tiers. The first 10 decimal GB of cycle bandwidth are included, then USD 1/GB; a charge below the payment minimum carries within the same Buyer Product.

Explicit metering boundary

Confirmed responses below 500 determine object usage; invalid metering headers and incomplete responses do not confirm it. Actual transferred bandwidth is tracked separately.

Billing is in USD. Annual plans, coupons, and streaming APIs are outside the current scope. Your API remains responsible for its upstream and model costs.
